Job Title: Principal – Elementary School
Employment: Full-time - 12 Months’
Salary: $83,516 - $107,057
Reports to: Chief Academic Officer
Supervises: All School Personnel
Qualifications:
· Master’s Degree and Arizona Principal Certification required.
· Bilingual (preferred)
· Professional growth evidenced by advanced training in leadership.
· Three or more years of successful teaching experience at the elementary/middle school level.
· Successful Principal or Assistant Principal experience in an urban setting
Essential Functions:
· Communicate high expectations by setting attainable school goals based on the superintendent’s direction and identified needs of the school.
· Supervise the curricular program to align with the superintendent’s directives and enhance student achievement and overall student development.
· Establish and maintain an effective learning climate in the school.
· Plan and organize activities to involve parents and other community members as positive partners in the school.
· Evaluate and counsel all staff members regarding their individual and group performances.
· Maintain professional growth plans and facilitate professional growth opportunities for all staff.
