Job Description:

James Madison Prep is seeking a high school math teacher who is a highly qualified, passionate educator responsible for delivering Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry content in a classroom setting. Our student to teacher ratio is 14:1. The High School Math Teacher will provide instruction, support, and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students' individual needs. The High School Math Teacher monitors student progress. They actively work closely with students to meet JMPS objectives that are above the state standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and educate students in a classroom setting
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
• Adhere to established teaching curriculum
• Maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Document and share student grades and evaluations
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in teaching or other educational fields
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to build rapport with students
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities

Salary: $40,000/year + bonus performance pay
