Job Description:

Under general supervision of Theater Technical Director performs work of moderate difficulty, coordinating and providing analytic/diagnostic support activities.

Hiring Pay Range: $33.11 – $35.14 per hour, DOE

Schedule: 40 hours/week, 206 paid work days per year

Minimum Required Qualifications Preferred: Degree in Theater preferred (specifically BA or BFA) or 4+ years of Theatrical Experience in Carpentry, Welding, Advanced Lighting Systems, and Advanced Sound Systems; prior theater technology/production experience is required; must have the ability to work without direct supervision, be able to handle multiple tasks, demonstrate a continual desire to improve and gain knowledge in the field and be able to adapt to changing work environments.

Special Requirements: Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Level I-IVPP Fingerprint Clearance card through Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Effort: The ability to lift and carry materials weighing between 50 – 100 pounds on a daily basis is required. The position requires prolonged standing, frequent bending or stooping, and climbing steps & ladders.
