K-4 Physical Education Wellness Paraprofessional
Riverside Elementary School District #2 – Hourly Position

Riverside ESD #2 is seeking a Wellness Paraprofessional to support our K-4 Physical Education program. This role works closely with the P.E. teacher to promote student physical fitness, health, and social-emotional wellness through engaging lessons and school-wide wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support instruction that integrates physical activity, health, and social-emotional learning

• Ensure safety and supervise students during activities

• Assist with lesson planning and implementation of wellness events

• Maintain classroom management and a positive learning environment

• Promote and model healthy lifestyle habits

• Engage in ongoing professional development

Requirements:

• AA degree, 60+ college credits, or passing paraprofessional exam

• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

• CPR/First Aid certification

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

• Experience with diverse, urban student populations
