Salary Range:
$19.00 - $25.00 USD hourly.

The Academic Coordinator will provide direct support to the Director in daily operational needs of the school. The Academic Coordinator will perform accounting duties for the Digital Academy in partnership with the Network Office, will manage the assigned Director’s daily calendar, and is responsible for handling non-routine situations by using enforced policies, procedures and practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- Three (3) years’ experience supporting educational leadership and/or office management within a school-setting.
- Ability to read, speak, and/or write in Spanish, preferred but not required.
- Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly support the aligned Director with daily operations of the school.
- Manage the aligned Digital Team member calendars; schedule interviews, visits, special events, etc.
- Work closely with other academic coordinators to ensure best practices are in place for daily school operations.
- Responsible for accounting functions specific to school site, such as but not limited to: Collecting and reconciling monies (field trip, tax credit, and student clubs).
- Submit purchase orders.
- Assist with Learning Success Coach hiring; screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, schedule and attend Zoom interviews.
- Assist Directors and Principals as needed.
- Access student databases to retrieve student information and run reports.
- Serve as project manager for tasks and initiatives in support of the aligned director.
- Assist in preparing and distributing school family and faculty correspondence.
- Manage state certification process and purchase orders for faculty.
- Maintain confidentiality throughout work processes.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Track all college going data for ASU Prep Seniors.
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

- Skill in use of MS Office and other software/applications.
- Ability to articulate, represent professional demeanor and ability to take initiative.
