Social Worker POOL #5489460

SUMMARY

The Social Worker provides therapeutic counseling services and clinical interventions to all students.  Develops counseling goals to support academic progress for both general and exceptional education students.  Supports the campus education team to identify, access, and evaluate eligibility for services. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work

OR

·         Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of Social Work

·         Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) Provider

·         Dependable mode of transportation

·         Availability to work flexible hours as needed

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

·         Bilingual - Spanish/English

·         Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health

·         AHCCCS provider number

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

·         FBI fingerprint background check. 

·         Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Valid Driver's license (Arizona Driver’s License required within 30 days of hire)
MVReport – showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

·         Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliance greater than or equal to the state-required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees

·         WORK CALENDAR: 9.5 months – 207 days (212 days for new to district teachers)
