Job Description:

Position: Elementary Teacher

Job Information: Certified position, 10 month

Compensation: Pay-DOE, sick leave, personal days, holidays, retirement, life and health insurance

                

 

      QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·        Must be able to obtain and maintain an AZ IVP fingerprint clearance

·        Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona Department of Education Teaching Certificate

·        Ability to assume responsibility, exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality of

materials and student information.

·        Follows all Federal, State laws as well as district policy

 

 

 

      Summary

·        A public-school teacher plays a central role in shaping students’ academic growth, social development, and lifelong learning habits. The position blends instruction, mentorship, communication and collaboratio9n in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

 

Responsibilities

·        Work under plan and deliver instruction aligned with state standards and district curriculum.

·        Create engaging lessons that support diverse learning styles and abilities.

·        Assess student progress through assessments, quizzes, projects, and observations.

·        Provide feedback that helps students growth academically and behaviorally

·        Manage the classroom environment to ensure safety, respect and productive learning

·        Integrate technology to enhance learning and support student engagement

·        Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and concerns

·        Collaborate with staff on grade-level/subject level teams that also include professional development

·        Uphold ethical and legal responsibilities related to student privacy, mandated reporting, and district policies.

·        Maintain accurate daily/period attendance each day
