The job of Special Education Cognitive Support Teacher is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the educational process with specific responsibilities for improving special education students' success in academic achievement; supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans; delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers and other professional staff; providing leadership to implement intervention initiatives; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
This job reports to Assigned Administrator

Employees who hold and maintain the appropriate teaching certification for any teaching role will be eligible for an additional $3,200 FY27 certification incentive.
