Job Summary:
· The Senior Data Analyst directs the Accountability process as an experienced leader and data analytics professional with a passion for leveraging data to inform K–12 education decisions throughout the state.
· This position:
· Oversees the development and deployment of Python and SQL ETL and CI/CD pipelines. A vital part of this role also involves collaborating with education leaders and other stakeholders to gather feedback and address complex policy discussions; and
· Develops and delivers engaging training sessions for educators to promote data literacy, ensure clear understanding of accountability measures, and foster a sense of ownership in the K–12 context.
· In this capacity, the Senior Data Analyst leads a dynamic team of Python data analysts, oversees statewide accountability measures, and ensures valid data usage in compliance with state and federal mandates. This role drives data-informed decision-making to benefit Arizona’s educators and students, while also skillfully navigating stakeholder discussions to build consensus and support for new initiatives.
· Occasional in-state and out-of-state travel is required for this position.

· Identify improvement opportunities, champion new processes, and maintain a forward-thinking approach to accountability measures
